Introducing ARPA-H’s Imaging Data Exchange (INDEX) program!

ARPA-H recently announced the launch of its ImagiNg Data EXchange (INDEX) program, which was directly informed by the results of the medical imaging data marketplace network survey conducted by the IC Hub earlier this year. INDEX aims to create a platform that seamlessly links data providers, data users, and service providers with high-quality images to enable development of a robust, trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) tool for pathology and radiology. Register by January 2 to attend INDEX’s Proposers’ Day in Seattle, Washington.

Amazon Web Services Supports Sprint for Women’s Health Launchpad Performers

During the company’s re:Invent conference in Las Vegas last week, IC Hub spoke member Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a commitment of up to $2 million in cloud credits to help ARPA-H Sprint for Women’s Health Launchpad performers address critical unmet challenges in women’s health. This support will help performers take advantage of the company’s Health Data Portfolio, which includes purpose-built AWS services ranging from secure data transfer, aggregation, and storage to data analytics, collaboration, sharing, and governance. The IC Hub is excited to facilitate this opportunity for performers.

Cure® Celebrates New York-Based Awardees of the Sprint for Women’s Health

In New York City last week, IC Hub spoke member Cure® hosted a special event celebrating ARPA-H’s transformational investments in women’s health. The event featured remarks from ARPA-H Director Renee Wegrzyn, Ph.D., and ARPA-H Portfolio Lead Jenica Patterson, Ph.D.; and presentations from New York metro-based awardees of the Sprint for Women’s Health.

ARPA-H Launches Funding Opportunity to Improve Clinical Trials

Last week, ARPA-H announced a new funding opportunity through its Advancing Clinical Trial Readiness (ACTR) initiative. The focus is on creating the tools, network, and infrastructure necessary for decentralized and on-demand clinical trials to enable 90% of eligible Americans to participate in clinical trials within 30 minutes of their home. ACTR seeks proposals across three technical areas: automated data collection and standardization, trial participant identification and engagement, and decentralized data curation and auditing. Register by January 14 to attend ACTR’s Proposers’ Day virtually or in person in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Share Insights with ARPA-H on RNA Market Demand and Distribution

Prospective funding partners seek experts to provide key information on RNA market demand and distribution, which will help shape how we address needs and challenges in RNA manufacturing technology and platforms. RNA experts are invited to complete this network survey to share the specific needs and challenges for sourcing high-quality RNA greater than 300 nucleotides. Feedback is due by January 10, 2025.
