The ARPA-H Sprint for Women’s Health seeks unconventional approaches and innovative new avenues to push high-impact biomedical research forward to improve women’s health outcomes.

On February 21, ARPA-H announced a new effort to fundamentally change the trajectory of women’s health care and radically accelerate the next generation of potential discoveries.

Ileana Hancu, Ph.D., ARPA-H Program Manager for Precision Surgical Interventions (PSI), joined us in January to give an overview of her program and how entities can contribute at different points of the program.

Dr. Andy Kilianski, ARPA-H Program Manager for APECx, joined us for the December Monthly Virtual Meeting to discuss the APECx program, the goal of which is to develop a vaccine that works against multiple viruses and eliminating these viruses as current and future health threats.

On November 30, we welcomed Darshak Sanghavi, M.D., ARPA-H Program Manager, to the ARPA-H Investor Catalyst Hub Monthly Virtual Meeting to provide an overview of his challenge area and program, which focuses on creating incentives to reward better health through managing early warning signs.

On October 26, the Investor Catalyst Hub celebrated its official launch in greater Boston as part of ARPANET-H, ARPA-H’s health innovation network.

Last week, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) launched ARPANET-H, a nationwide health innovation network anchored by three regional hubs, with the Greater Boston area selected as the home for the Investor Catalyst Hub.
