September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month. Join Mission-Driven Tech for a virtual screening of its new documentary BrachyStories, followed by a Q&A with Co-Founder and CEO Eve McDavid. Mission-Driven Tech set out to understand why up to 40% of women who begin brachytherapy procedures prematurely drop out from care, resulting in recurrence and death, instead of cure. Through this international brachytherapy patient experience research initiative, BrachyStories was born. BrachyStories is a new body of medical research and accompanying documentary film that captures patients’ lived experience and the incredible opportunities to improve care and completion rates right now.
